Local writer, journalist, and ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú's Graduate TESOL Certificate alumna Cheryl Chee Tsutsumi just published the second volume of "" (December 2024, Watermark Publishing). The book is a combination of recipes and rice-related stories contributed by local residents and chefs. Among them are two entries from the ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú TESOL ohana. ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú alumna Ryoko Tazawa (MA TESOL, 2011) reflects on her connections with her host family and now-wife while attending ºÚÁÏÀÏ˾»ú in "Sharing Life and Love on My Family's Lānai." TESOL professor Hanh Nguyen remembers a sad event in her childhood in Vietnam, in "Heaping Bowls of Rice." The book is available on Amazon and at Watermark Publishing.
