The Ride Aloha Festival is a weekend celebration of bicycles that combines multiple riding events, an expo, welcome dinner, and finish area festival, which all highlight the beauty of riding a bicycle in Hawaii. The primary event is the Honolulu Century Ride, which is a non-competitive cycling event that showcases O’ahu as a world-class bicycling destination. The flagship route is 100 miles from Kapiolani Park to Kaaawa and back. Riders have the option to choose shorter distances including: 25, 50, and 75 miles. We also host the Honolulu Aloha Fun Ride event that offers either five or ten miles route options, and is designed to welcome a wider audience to the camaraderie of O’ahu’s largest cycling event, including local youth, and families of those traveling with a more experienced cyclist. A cycling expo with booths from partner organizations, including Japan and Mainland cycling events, as well as event merchandise, is held during the packet pickup dates. A welcome dinner is held before the event to kick off the weekend. Participants and the community will also enjoy a finish area festival that includes food vendors and live entertainment, including the Royal Hawaiian Band, as well as information from community partners, a youth bike rodeo, and more! Both residents and visitors, ranging from competitive cyclists to families going for a casual ride are the target audience. It is a weekend focused on cycling in Hawaii, and is truly the best time to “Ride Aloha!”.
Note: Community events are shared for awareness but are not necessarily sponsored or endorsed by ˾.
